Need help wiring a starter/kill switch box

    I have a 1982 Yamaha Virago 750cc and my starter button was bad I bought a replacement model from a 1982 Yamaha xj650 and I can't figure out the wiring the new one has extra wires.

    so you bought the whole 650 control to replace the virago control?

    should be a blue white wire leading to starter button, a black wire which is ground, and 2 red/white wires to kill/run switch. 4 wires in a 6 position connector.

    upload_2017-9-24_8-29-8.png the r/y wire goes to fuse, and l/b wires splits off to neutral light and neutral light theese wires are not present on the 650 control

    The Virago right-side swichgear also has wiring for the hazard lights, and wiring for the starter and ignition safety system.
    You will need a Virago control, or you'll need to rewire the main harness to bypass the safety system (not recommended).

    I have pictures but it isn't allowing me to post them any idea how I can? And yea I am starting to realize I messed up the ebay seller told me it was compatible.
