Need the left hand control w/horn button for a '79' XS750.

I sold the bike but I don't want to give it to him in an unsafe to ride condition. Actually I gave it to a Mechanic so he would fix up my 82 Seca 750 for me and he is a good guy.
I tried Yamaha Triples site already.

    Thanks

If you just need the horn button, I believe that is a generic Yamaha item; www.mikesxs.com might have it. If you need the clutch perch or hi/lo headlight switch you might be able to get any Jap left-hand control to work (the left mirror mount on the Yammies is the same as all Jap bikes and they all use 7/8" handlebars) as long as it is the same type clutch actuation (i.e., cable or hydraulic MC) - just remove the wires from the plug and re-use the XS750 plug.

I have the part you need the only problem is you have to buy the whole bike to get it. Its a nice complete bike with no title but lots of really good parts.

I need the entire assembly because the left turn signals do not work either.

If you were nearby I might buy the whole enchilada, but, all I need is the switch and harness assy.
