I've got some extra five valve covers, but like many, they are not mint. Tabs broken, but they still work. OEM fairing? Never heard of one. I'll be in receipt of a bunch of parts tomorrow, and will after seperating them, let you know what else I have. They only made the maxim x, Canada and US from 85-86.

I have an extra backrest if you are interested too.

Lets see some pictures! Never heard of a fairing on a Maxim-X, mines an 85. Unless you're talking about the rad cover, that's the only plastic up front I can think of.

    So, it's a Canadian version??
The 750s went to Canada, due to tariffs we got the 700s

I didn't get as many parts as I was hoping for. Really nothing exciting except for a ton of work.

Oh, Len... wherefore art thou Len...

Got the turn signal stem for my X from him after one of mine got busticated a couple years back. Lemme see if I can dig up a part number... ah. HCP1982. Vented gas cap? HCP2904.

Sure would be nice if those could support the driver's back and not that of the passenger.

Hmmm, for some reason this did not post earlier today. So I'll try again and see if it works this time.

Some of this stuff may be on the eBay link on this site, but I've bought a couple of parts from this guy and will vouch for him as a seller. Great prices, fast shipping and honest descriptions of the parts he sells.
Here's a link to his eBay store:

Yes, I got a couple parts from him too.
That bike was in great shape (shame on him for parting it out)...but I'll take the parts :)
Good seller and the parts were in good condition.

Figure that applies here as it did there.
