    whats up guys...could use some help...new at this...just bought a xj650 maxim for my first bike and got a few problems...

    1. turn signals arent working....

    2. once I try to throttle out of first gear...the bike dies...and once in awhile theres a little puff of black smoke that comes out of the carb holders...

    hey waxamilion, pull out the volt meter and start fallowing the wires checking for break in them. i knoked out wiers around the back turn signiles and they stopped working.

    Get the xj cd its great.
