    Hi guys...

    Great forum, I regularly hang around picing up ideas and great tips....

    Have a look at my XJ: http://www.odegard.it/my.xj/

    I am looking for suggestions on where to go from here.... :)

    Thinking about doing the following:
    1. get a clubman handlebar (alternatively a TT)
    TT handlebars I'm looking at:
    * this, this or this
    Can't really deceide.... :-(

    2. Make a DIY 1-up on my saddle. A kinda coverup of the passenger seat to make it more like "Ease's" (I love your ride man!)

    3. Also I would like to make a little fairing to shield off some wind and make it "not so naked". Have seen a couple of "mantisse" like fairings and am contemplating creating my own. Other thoughts around this is to just pop-rivet some sheets of aluminiu together and make something akin to a stealth fighter fairing (odd angles and stuff) ...
    Suggestions?

    4. I'm prolly going to rip off the instrument cluster, it bothers the shit outta me...First off nothing but the puter works (yeah and the warning lights and stuff). The speedo wound turn and the tach is jumpy like a chicken among a pack of foxes...The speedo I don't need (got me a TomTom Rider v.2 to use instead), and the tach, well I've been riding bikes since I was about 7 so I think I can feel when it's time to shift... Should be able to rip the puter out of the box and mount it horizontal into somethin much smaller...

    So what do you think, bout my ride (as is) and future mods?

    Greetings from Norway, season just starting out!

    BTW:
    I know, I know...., we should care about our rides as our next of kin....
    Regrettably I was a "little" short on time when winter came visiting, so I basically stoved my ride under a roof (no walls) and let it fight the winter off by itself....Guess what? These bikes truly can not be killed off!
    Spring came and I just flushed it full of starter gas and wham! It ran like a charm....no problems at all....Was I suprised....yep!
