Need to open a used glove box with no key xj 550

    I picked up a glove box from eBay with no key.
    Any ideas on opening this thing ?
    I wouldn't mind taking the tumblers out and using like that for now.

    Locksmith ( a real one; not some hardware/big-box store wannabe). Easy. He'll make a new key too.

    have you started by spraying pb blaster in the slot to free it up.

    Thanks, I'll do both of those things.
    Good news is I think I got my oil leak fixed
    I got the leaky float valve fixed with a new one and then another carb
    started leaking. I might as well replace the other three lol.
    and now to go spray some stuff in the key hole and start looking for a lock smith
