Just finished a rebuild of the MC and caliper on my xj650j. Also installed new stainless lines, new rotor & pads and new drum shoes out back.

I was slightly nervous that I fooged the bleed job, since a was pulling a lot of air past the original bleed nipple threads on the initial fill. Once I swapped in the speed bleeder I was able to pump most or all of the air out.

Versus my old brakes, I believe I've probably cut my stopping distances at least in half. Now it kinda feels like the old brakes weren't very safe :p

As always, thanks to chacal for making sure I got the right parts.

Anyone need used but good condition stock brake rotor? :)
