Well sort of. My brother bought a new camera so he was kind enough to give me his old one. A Canon Rebel XT. Years ago I was into 35mm SLR's but with the advent of digital photgraphy and cell phones actually taking remarkably good pictures for what they are I've been reluctant to buy a digital SLR. I took a liking to the small size of cell phones (well they're not that small anymore, are they. :D ) and point and shoot cameras. Mind you, I never once thought that the image quality and features of point and shoot and phones could match a SLR, I just didn't want to lug one around.

Now since one fell into my lap I'v been playing with it some and am quite impressed with it. Here are a few randoms.

Brad, that is really nice . . . I just got my father's Minolta XG-A.
Got to find who develops film these days!

Back to your digital SLR; it might be too good, I think I see a crack in your valve cover, just east of the lower bolt. 8O

Stumplifter, I've just had a roll of Ilford XP2 processed. It's a black and white film that can be processed in colour negative chemicals, if you don't know it. The tones are lovely, and I shall be using more of it. It's worth a try.

biggs500, I see you know how to control depth of field! Nice pix.
