It took a bit of time during the summer months to get my old carb drain screws out. Ended up using a handheld impact tool to loosen the little so-and-sos. I replaced them with the stainless steel, allen head type from Chacal.

Today I decided that the snow wasn't going anywhere and I winterized my bike. It was awesome to attach a hose to the drain outlets and loosen the carb drain screws to remove the fuel from the float bowls. I had the bike on the center stand and raised the front wheel to try and get the bottom of the bowls closer to level. It was also surprising how much debris came out with the gas.

Definitely worth the effort to get the old screws out.
