It would seem that my chain is unevenly stretched as a result of my misaligned rear wheel? Does that sound about right? There is one, or a couple places in the chain where it doesn't have as much play.

I've been told that when replacing the chain, also replace the sprockets. I have never performed this before and assume it's in the clymer that has not arrived yet...

I'd like to go out and pick up a new chain and sprockets but am not sure what I'm looking for and what sizes. Any help?

When you can pull the chain on the back of the rear sprocket and see half a tooth, it's time for a new one. Or if the chain is off the bike, lay it down on the ground, same as it rides on the sprockets and if you can bend it into a letter C, it's shot.

Chain is a 530. 104 links. Front sprocket is 16 teeth, rear is 46. For the Seca. The Maxim has a 45 tooth rear.

    Oh very cool, thank you.

Got my Clymer in and ordered the parts. Thanks again.
