I just installed Dynatec coils and spark plug wires on my XJ650RJ. Very pleased but my bracketry is a little rough.

Did you order the mount adapters from Len?

I did Dynacoils on my XJ650 and went ahead and spent the extra on Len's brackets. They weren't a perfect fit, but they are a hell of a lot better than what I could have done on my own.

The bottom line with Dynacoils is if they work and are solidly mounted, you are good to go. As long as nothing is loose or dangling where it shouldn't be the benefits way surpass the negativities.

Do you perhaps have a picture or can you elaborate on your bracketry? Perhaps someone can offer some input on improving the solidity of the mounts.

If the Coils come with a Prefabricated Mounting Hardware Kit, ... splurge for the Kit.

I've seen some ridiculous-looking mounting of aftermarket coils that generally worked-out to be troublesome for the owner's that abandoned stock coils.
