My tire WAS 13 YEARS OLD.IT IS BEING REPLACED TODAY.i LIKE TO NEVER HAVE GOT THE TIRE OFF.tHE CALIPER WONT COME OFF THE ROTOR.Sorry, hit caps by mistake.I thought once I took the 2 mounting bolts out it would pop off.I hit it with a hammer onto a board. It never budged. My pads are pretty much paper thin,I bought new.I had no front brakes, that is part of the problem.I wonder if the piston is stuck. When i squeeze the brake lever shouldnt the calipers move, and the shoes flex in and out.One doesnt move at all, the outboard one, and the inner most is paper thin and doesnt move at all.I pumped the air out I think . I pump the lever, open the screw, nothing but brake fluid comes out. The guy was riding with 13 year old tires,no headlight, just the empty bucket and a 2006 license plate.he would have had to have some sort of brakes though. No one could ride with no brakes.

Contact XJ4Ever (pic on the top-right of this page) and order the right caliper rebuild kit. Just be patient taking everything apart so you don't make things worse by braking something.
