I bought a new fuse block and I was wondering if I could solder the wires to the fuse block and then put some heat shrink over it? Or should I just get the crimp style clips to attack to the fuse block?

    Thanks.

no, you have to put the heat shrink on before you solder it :)

While you could solder directly to the terminals on teh fuse block, crimped connections are easier, faster, and more resistant to breakage from vibration (unless you are proficient at soldering). Crimped connectors also make it easy to swap out the fues block if it should ever become damaged.
