    hey guys, me and my buddy picked up an '82 seca xs400 as a fall semester project, and thanks to this site have been able to get it running! just thought i would let you guys know you have a new member! we found the bike with an electrical bug for $450, and discovered a bad ignitor, water in the gas, and fouled carbs. $30 later its running fine!!

    plans are all black paint/some chrome, clubman bars, round gauges and headlight, maybe some pod filters....

    I wouldn't mess with the airbox until you do everything else (ever actually.) You'll just start a headache for yourself... Nice low mileage bike, lots of potential there.
