    Hi

im in auckland new zealand and I just brought my first XJ. its a 650. its a basketcase. but for 100 bucks im not going to argue. Its all there. am looking forward to pulling it apart and playing. it has to sit for a while while i finish my zx9r fighter, but its ideal for what i want to do for my next build.

I dont have pics of it but i do have pics of a some others that i like the look of.

    Dude... Welcome

I'm in Waitakere and I still have some 650 bits and pieces.

How much of a basket is it? Got any pics?

its not to bad. its all there. i know it needs a couple of boots to go between the carb and the head as they have been siliconed up. it has 2 ignition modules so i hope one is working. no keys, no paper work, some one has had a go at starting and hot wired it.

    | posted a link to your coldkiwi photos over on nzstreetfighterz, a few of the boys were there. that photo of the hanging sausage and the blue honda is the owner of the site.

would love to know what you have left. i know off the bat i need those boots, a gear leaver, clutch cable,

once i start i will need seat, tyres, new front end, angle grinder, welder, sand blaster, powder coat, fiberglass, time and money.

Fantastic... Cold Kiwi was a good weekend. I've put half a dozen videos up on Youtube as well.

Don't think I have carb boots anymore, but will definitely have some of the other bits you're after like wiring loom, gear change, maybe even a seat... It's been a while since I went through my 650 boxes, but I have a good tank, a 16inch rear rim (standard is 18) carb spares and a number of other bits and bobs.

Its always good having people in the know. where would one get those boots?

that gear leaver is def needed. im going to chop the hell out of that loom so i should be fine for that. im going to make a seat for it, not sure what yet but will see what happens to the rear end. have you got any bigger jets for the carbs?? and a clutch cable??

what is the advantage on the 16inch wheel??is it just cosmetic or is it tyres?? im going to be running a 17inch wheel on the front. i need bigger brakes. the ones on there scare me more than a little!!

    which tank have you got??
