    Hello all!
    I just picked up an '82 Seca XJ650R in pretty decent shape for $100 and stumpled across this site as I was searching for information. Looking forward to learning about this bike, fixing it up, and maybe making some new friends.

    welcome ! i joined the xjbike site yesterday also. there's a picture of my $130 xj650r i posted from yesterday. after all was done it came to about $1,700 to get it as you see it and running great! i just picked up a parts bike (82 xj650r) yesterday and will be looking for new homes for the carbs (hitachi), fenders, tank, etc. before i get the rest to the local boneyard. enjoy the project and welcome! scott
