Hi all, Im in the market for new muffllers. The mufflers I have on now are rusty and dent up from the past owner. So what are some mufflers compatable with the 82 maxim 650? What Im looking for is quiet, or atleast equal to the original 650 mufflers.

Hey thanks for the link but I have a question about it. I dont know much about motorcycles in general so when I go to select options which is the most quiet? I see turned out,Slash-cut Side-draft, and megaphone(which I guess is loud?) etc..

Read the muffler reviews. The site also sells baffles.

One thing to consider.... This is my opinion of course, loud is safe. When people can hear you, they can see you. You go to quiet and you can go unnoticed. Just some food for thought. I don't like super Harley loud but I don't like quiet either. I want to be noticed by car drivers.

I agree, Mine are semi-baffled and loud.
