    Hiya Folks,

Just picked up an '82 Seca 650 turbo. Plan on it being a daily driver (If I can handle the riding part, see, I haven't been on a bike in about 25 years!)
I've got some work ahead of me, broken plastic (lower "scoop" on the fairing) dumps fuel out of the breather hose, and generally makes a mess, lotsa dust and dirt, and a bunch of loose hose clamps. But with all this, I have heard it run!!! fired up first try, I know, crazy with the fuel leak and all that, but had to hear it run before I bought it.

All in all, not a bad deal for $200.00!!! (Yes, I did feel bad takin' the kids bike for that much, but his mommy was there to o.k. the deal.

(think they could fit a rotary engine on 2 wheels??)

If it starts, $200 is a good deal. Good luck.

Not to go off-topic, but it is the general lounge.

Of course they can fit a rotary on two wheels. The easiest to obtain is a Suzuki RE5, but there was the Hercules W-2000 and a few rotary bikes from Norton.

I've had a few RX-7's and one RE5. Currently, all my vehicles are 4 cyl piston power, but I'll grab up another rotary one of these days.

Welcome to a fellow Okie! Congrats on a very good deal.

Get those float levels/needles/etc checked out soon and change the oil, cause if you're dumping gas out of the airbox, you probably have some in the crank case, as well.

    Cheers!
