Hey guys figured id introduce myself because i am sure to be asking ALOT of questions.

I been riding now for 6or7 years now.

    I Started on a Yamaha V-Star 650, moved on to a Suzuki V-Strom 650, Then decided i missed my v-star and bought a 08 V-Star 1100 Silverado.

I have done a bit of work to the star and its a great bike for touring on and weekend longer trips BUT its a PITA to clean and i kinda starting to miss the bit of sportiness of my old V-Strom.

SO i made the desishion to look for a project bike for myself and came apon this 1983 Seca 750. I HAD to get this thing. For one i always liked the look of the tanks and body work (not a fan of the square lights), For two my older brother has a 82 Seca 650 and a 82 maxim and i have ridden the seca and loved it (power and delivery very similar to my old V-Strom). And lastly because its a 1983 i just think it be cool to have a bike made in the year i was born. Oh and basically since i started rideing i ALWAYS wanted a older bike to fix up.

My plans for the bike since i have time and a bike to ride is to completely strip it down to frame and just basically clean the bike up properly. Then i want to build the seca into a cafe racer style bike (mainly to clean up that front end and i just love that look).

I am so excited i cant wait to get working heading down to the local scrap yard to find a nice headlight bucket and such tommorow and start the dissassembly.

But anyways heres some pics of my new bike.
