Hi Everyone, I have an '82 Maxim 750J bike which worked fine until I was on the way to work this morning. I went to slide the turn signal switch, and noticed that they weren't doing anything. I then realized that I now had to hold the switch either far left of far right for them to start blinking, and as soon as I'd let go, they went off. I am assuming that I need a new switch, but does anyone know of anything else that could have possibly gone bad? Thanks!

I'd start with cleaning the switch you have. Not very difficult.

The other thing to check would be the auto-cancelling turn signal relay.
