New to forum, just got my first XJ

    Hello and greetings from Missouri. Just got an 81 XJ650 Maxim and I'm here to learn a little more and meet some rad people hopefully. The bulk of my motorcycle knowledge has been gathered building XS750 Cafe's and the like so I am very new to the interesting world of XJ's, particularly Maxims.

    Welcome from VA. There is alot of people on this great forum that will lend their expertise. Put you location in you info. Who knows there might be someone close to you that wouldn't mind lending you a hnad if you get in a bind.
