Okay. Bought a 83 xj750 Seca with known problems.

The history of the bike. Only 20 miles have been put on the bike this year and its been sitting in a garage since last season about. Before that the bike has been taken care of and ridden in Missouri i believe.

The man i bought it from did take care of it but didnt ride it much. So i can believe most of the issues are from it sitting and can be normal issues.

The first, the leak in the petcock which I have reduced to a bad diaphragm which needs replacing.

Fuel is more than dripping out of the little hole on the plastic piece in the back. If anyone has comments, give them.

Second the front brake slowly locks up after a short amount of riding. They need to be bleed but im not sure what to do beyond that.

Third and the worst is the idle. As soon as the bike is started it jumps up to 4 or 5 rpm and wont come down. I can regulate it with the choke but
    thats it.

I am going to run some B-12 through after the gas leak is fixed and i hope that helps. But god forbid i have to clean the carburetors i will but i've been reading there are a lot of reasons for a high idle.

I would love to find a manual so I can preform the regular maintenance check ups also but only found one on ebay and I dont trust it.

So if you have advice, solutions, and parts I would love the help!

Mine revved to the moon with choke on when it was sucking air 4-5k rpm like you say....and a lot of times the owner run the base idle up trying to overcome the leak so it will idle off-choke...

I know, I go straight to sucking air as the source of problems first, but it's common and easy to check first without taking stuff apart.

I've had that particular brake problem before on an old GS750. Try taking the correct size wrench for the bleeder screw on the caliper with you for a ride. When it starts to lock up open the screw slightly and see if shoots a pretty good shot of fluid and the caliper releases suddenly....if so, the brake hose is probably collapsed internally.

If you get no strong fluid pressure out of it and the brake does not release when you open it, it's a different problem...caliper is seized on it's pivot real bad, etc...

Too save yourself some headaches down the road, just rebuild the brake master cylinder and caliper. You should also rebuild the petcock and carbs. Do it right the first time and you won't end up stranded in the future. The brake system is nothing to slack on either. Brakes locking up could lead to a serious wreck.

Also don't expect a magical fuel addative to fix, clean and sync your carbs.

Replace the rear brakes while you are at it. Even if they look decent, they have a habit of delaminating over time.
