newbie in uk...front brake switch connection...!!

    Helloooo everyone in the good old usa...just joined the forum having bought a 550 maxim import well pleased with the bike...started to strip it down for painting and have slowly been putting everything back how it should but cannot find for the love of trying where the connection is for my front brake switch from the lever,thought I labelled em all up but this one got away...has the male bullet connectors from the lever.......????? 8O 8O

    No, that green one at the front is your clutch lever safety switch. http://xjbikes.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=30354.html

    But the connections are in the headlight bucket; in the pic below you can see the leads (green wire w/yellow stripe & brown wire) plugged in, upper right. They plug into wires of the same color; note that there are both "brown" and "chocolate" colored wires; the darker (chocolate) ones are used for the turn signals.

    (The connectors with the red circles around them are the items that need to be unplugged to remove the cluster, this is a 550 Seca so there are more of them than your Maxims.)
