Newbie question

    Great website! I just bought a 1982 bobber xj 650 which is sitting really low. The 4 into 1 header has been pretty beat up for lack of clearance. I noticed on a couple of pics here some bikes with 4 single exhaust lines made out of a material that looks like asbestos. The ground clearance for these singles looks a lot better than my 4 in to 1 collector. Does anyone have information on these single exhaust lines? Thanks.

    Look around the modes ssection.
    You are probably seeing straight pipes with exhuast wrap.
