Welcome to the site. Post some pics of the bike! I'm sure I've never seen a pink one. The X is a great all around bike. I searched for a few years to find mine.

    Ayup K.J.S. luv!
Now, not wanting to come off sounding like a reet pillok, what mechanical accumen do you posses? From reading your other posts and they way you describe bits and pieces you should get a proper manual first off. Fill in your profile a bit more as some of the members of this site are in the U.K. and could be miles from you, or just 'rondt corner.
Was the bike running when you got it? Get shut of those pods, they look the biz, but are not the kit for that bike.
You will find loads of info here for putting the bike to rights, but only if you can understand the terminology of whats being said. So keeping asking questions and try to put pics in with the questions so that we can get a good look at what you are going on about. Other than a totally knackered lump, with guidance from fellow forum members you should be able to have the big "Plum" running in short order.
Oh, and welcome to the Forum.

    Keep in touch, Graham.

P.S. I used to live in the North-West, St. Helens, Haydock, Earlestown, where do you come from?

Hey, pink/purple.. i dunno, maybe an over active imagination lol

maxim-x, I'm down south near london. Nobody's really taught me anything, I sort of learned how to do things by fiddling so I don't know the names of stuff. Anyways, it's all fixed now but.. now it's too fast :)

Main thing? oh i dunno. We did so much stuff. I think cleaning carbs helped, but the last thing I did was cut the ignition leads to length. They were really long and looked messy. Before I did that it wouldn't idle, whenever I stopped it was revving too high and I always felt like everyone was looking at me.
