I am super new to this. I recently bought an '82 XJ750 Maxim for a steal. I've messed with cars and small engines for a while now and even run an auto parts store, but I am green when it comes to motorcycles. I have power to the solenoid and to one fuse on the fuse panel, but no lights, won't attempt to start, no horn, etc. Any ideas? Battery is fully charged.

if you have + to the solenoid and it works the starter should spin.
you can jump the solenoid and spin the starter, first find neutral.
after that there's a few safety contacts that have to be made for it to actually start
