Hi everyone, I am having an issue with my turn signals. When everything is hooked up correctly, I get no turn signals. The lights all light up but will never flash. Funny thing is, I know it works. I accidently hooked up the right switch wire connector to the turn signal connector on the main harness andeverytime I hit the start button, the right turn signals will flash. But when I would hook it all up correctly, nothing ever happens. I did buy another left hand switch, but it still does not want to work. Anyone have any ideas? I just don't want to have to buy an aftermarket turn signal wiring kit if I do not have to. Thanks.

are you using the stock signals? If you are using aftermarkets that draw less power you will need to swap out your flasher with an electronic one.

Are you sure you have 27 watt lamps in your signals.

I will make sure and check first thing tomorrow morning. It is just weird that it will work if I swap the connector to the wrong one.

Maybe some how you hooked up both filaments which created more resistance and that triggered the flasher to work.

One quick question that pertains to this. Will the lights still flash if the back lamps are burnt out, or is it like the old Christmas trees when one light goes out, they all go out? Not my issue, but just something to know just in case it happens.

If one of the two lamps burn out it will not flash

Buzz - you might double check that your brake light is working correctly, as it is on the same circuit. (yikes!)

I haven't been able to check my bulbs yet, but yes, my brake light does work. It's been a crazy past few days.
