I put a regular gravity feed petcock on fuel tank, but, no gas dropping into carbs. I did a thorough cleaning and same problem as before only starts with starting fluid. So, gonna attempt a rebuild. I'm pretty sure the little stoppers connected to the floats are not opening. I put a clear tube to watch gas flow from tank. A little gas goes into carb supply line but stops. Doesn't continue into carbs. Not sure what kind of carbs they are. Not Mikuni or Keihin, I don't think. Recommendations on rebuild kits? I see one on Ebay for $70 for all four.

is your fuel filter letting gas thru?
I bought a really cool looking filter
and it would not let enough fuel thru to go into
    the carbs
removed the actual filter and the gas flowed
had to get a different filter
    something to try
it drove me insane.. after the bike running when I brought
it home last fall.. then going thru all the common
things.. valve clearances.. new valve gasket
new bolt seals.. carbs.. 30 hours of cosmetic work
putting it all back together and then it not starting
I was ready to cry.. took fuel filter out of the filter
and 5 minutes later I was driving down the road

Had the floats on upside down ):
Wasn't opening the stoppers! Just fingered it out! I should put a fuel filter on . That f***er is gonna get clogged again. The gas looks tan because of the sediment in the tank. Anyway it's running. Just needs some tuning! Yay!!!
