Diaphragms pulled....what treatment do these get while I'm working on the rest? They look old but no perforations or cracks that I can see. Where can I order new ones if I needs without paying too much. $$. .?

Well the answer to your second question is nowhere. They simply aren't inexpensive unless you can find some used ones that are in good shape, new is $$$. XJ4Ever I'm fairly sure keeps the Mikuni diaphrams stocked for a few bills.

So more important is your first question since yours are still in good shape. If you can't feel any damage or see any cracks, or light penetrating (yes seen that before!!) then treat them with kid gloves. I start with a warm bath in dawn dish liquid and use a soft bristled tooth brush to gently clean them. Gently dry them and then use a rubber treatment on them. In the past I've used armor all type products, but with the 550 I found this product which seems to work better.
