Ohio or Lower Michigan Carb Clinic

I am in Toledo and wondering if there are any clinics planned for the next month or two.
I will be cleaning my carbs in the next couple of weeks and am concerned for my ability to sync and fine tune.
I will attempt with all of the good information but have never worked on carbs and just a little nervous.

I'd ove to go to one.... though I'd only be able to early march/ early may

 

i have a colortune and a mercury manometer (best gauge ever) and i can teach how to clean them i just dont have room in my garage since there are 4 bikes already in it

if somebody can offer up a place to do this i can bring my gear

i live in commerce michigan

 

I might be able to open up my garage in Toledo, Ohio.
I have some basic tools and have a 1.5car garage.
Who would be interested in making a trip to Toledo ?

Now that my bike is running I will offer my garage. I am located in Toledo.
Someone would need to bring some knowlege and the colortune and sync tool. I am making the two bottle sync tube.

I'd probably be able to show up for this. Actually, I will make every effort to show up for this even if I have to trailer up there.

 

Is this still a possibility?

 

I will offer my garage, I currently have my bike up and running but would be nice to verify my sync and colortune is correct, as I have never done this before.
I also now have a 14MM colortune plug, but no sync tool.
And again no experience except what I have done on my bike.
I am located in Toledo, Ohio about 2 miles from the Mich. border and three miles off I-75.

Well, Toledo is about 2 hours from me, so I will plan on going and odds are i can get a buddy of mine to come up there too with his 920. I can bring basic tools and some big fans but nothing too specialized.

 

If we get someone with some knowlege and tools Peli we can book.
I will throw out April 17th or May 8th
Again I do have the 14MM colortune and some basic hand tools but no sync tool and not enough knowledge to run a clinic.

 

Put up the batsignal and hope someone with some experience responds! If someone is willing to guide us newbies, I will bribe them with pizza or beer, on me. Or maybe a case of Dr. Pepper. Whatever your poison is, I'll cover it. I should be ok with about any weekend in the forseeable future: my bike hasn't been running right so far this year and I'm really hoping to do something about it.

 

i have a colortune a mercury stick gauge and i do know how to use them
may 8th is out for me any other day would be fine
toledo is a good 1 to 1.5 hrs drive for me which is no big deal except im not a real big fan of transporting mercury gauges (im worried of spilling it)

Whenever should be fine for me. I'm surprised theres not more interest in this :/

 

If the date ends up being open for me I wouldnt mind driving up to meet some fellow riders. I have a 4 tube carbtune I could throw in a back pack. Would be the longest ride my bike has taken in 15 years

I'm having some electrical problems with mine...but if I can get it running, I have some carbs that have never really been tuned as nicely as I like. I'm in, if I can swing it. Weekends in May look pretty good for me.

I don't know if you were serious, Carl, but if you were, I guess I'd gladly clean up an extra set of carbs in exchange for all you've done (and for another crack at your shop).

Anyway, if a location gets agreed upon I'll try to make it down. I think 5/8 looks pretty good for me.

 

Oh good, more activity finally! I'm still in for this if its still a possibility.

 

I can still host at my place in Toledo.
How about May 8th.
Do we have a teacher or leader, someone to guide us through the process.
