Ohio weather

With all of this weird weather this past february in ohio I figured I would break out the bike from from storage. When I put if up late late fall (late nov-early dec) I tried to take it to ohio route 555 but made it about halfways down it nearly froze myself to death. I brought the bike back home filled it up and put in the garage. no stabil(facepalm) or anything. amazingly enough all it took to start was a battery charger. No ether or anything. Took her for a quick ride around the neighborhood then put her to bed until the next decent. During the ride there was no flat spots, or stuttering or anything different from when I put her away. and before I get attacked brakes already been checked and I did the valves about 1000 miles ago. Anyone else get their bikes out during our mid "winter" break?
