Does anyone know the ohm readings empty and full for a fuel sender on a 1982 XJ750 RJ SECA? I checked mine. I got 0 ohms empty 60 ohms full. Is this right? I'm getting rid of the old console, and want a new fuel gauge. Thanks.

I read somwhere it was 0 empty and 90 full.

But be careful. These bikes are backwards of most. Most have the 0 and the 90 right, but 0 is full and 90 is empty. So your gauge could read full when empty and vice versa.

My Seca was around 320 ohms and the range is backward and reads the wrong way for the more common gauges.
In my project thread I documented modifying the sender to work with a different gauge.
