I don't know, but if it's a fitting that goes into/through the cover, then it's probably an o-ring.

Go to Harbor Freight. Lifetime supply of o-rings (397 pieces, various sizes) for $9.99.

Common problem. O-ring is bad. Replace with one from XJ4ever. Click on the XJ engine on the top of this web page.

Are you talking about where the tachometer cable connects at the motor? If that is so, you will have to order a new one from Chacal. The o-ring inside is a special part that should not be replaced by a generic o-ring.

    Ouch.

Keep it real, fellas. In the context of stopping a simple oil leak on an odometer cable vs. a critical application, if the shoe fits - wear it.

Btw, the touted Viton o-rings are also sold at HF. $19.99 for 300+, various sizes.
