About a week ago the oil light stop turn on when the engine stopped on my xj650.

The only time I see it now is when the starter is engaged

This bring up a few question

    1. where is the oil sensor/wire
    2. where is the oil sensor Circuit
    3. Where should I start and what order should I test in

    Thanks

Yamaha's have an oil level switch instead of a oil pressure switch.

It is normal that it lights up while you're starting the bike, that is a sort of check if the bulb still is ok. (the fuel light should light up also while cranking)
