Oil ring stuck

    Number 3 cylinder keeps fouling the plug. It oil not gas. The carbs are clean. I believe it’s a stuck oil ring. Any ideas of loosing it up, other than tearing it apart?

    So why do you think it's the oil ring that's stuck? Why one out of all four?
    It sounds like a valve guide oil seal or even the valve guide itself to me, if it's just on the one cyl.
    If it is the oil ring, and you want to loosen it up, get the engine oil up to temp, or even try some Redex and flush that through the tank aswell, that's why i don't think it's the oil ring.
    Could be wrong, but to me it's pointing elsewhere other than the rings. :idea:
