Oil weight for Winter?

    Hey I ride all year round, and its been about about 30-60F lately. Wondering what oil weight i should be using.

    If you have an xj, there should be recommendations on the inside of one of the side covers. for 40f and below it should be 10w30 but you can use 40 or even 50. I use 10w40 in the winter and 20w40 in the summer.

    You guys are forgetting about the friction modifiers !!!
    If you run a thin oil,it can't be one of the "energy concerving" oils,
    or you can have a slipping clutch to go with your cold weather ride.

    What's wrong with just letting it warm up for 2 minutes?
    Is there really a problem cranking the engine that is solved with a "0" weight oil??
