I swapped out my forks tonight for a lower mileage and better condition set. Now I am having trouble getting the front wheel to go back on. I have the forks secured into the triple clamps, the front fender, and brake caliper installed, and can't seem to find enough clearance for both the speedo pickup and the axel spacer on the other side.

    Any suggestions?

    +1 it's a bi#$h....

try sticking the spacer collar into the bearing oilseal recess first... ie before you fit the rotor into the calipers. then make sure the speedo pickup seats fully into its home. lift the wheel so the rotor slides into the calipers and the speedo sits correctly in its location tab on the fork. hold the wheel so the hub and the spindle holes line up, then slide the spindle home.

I've had luck with this, but i still can't figure out where the spacer flange fits... it's not in the manual....

where o where does that spacer flange go???

Loosen everything up and spread them a bit to get all your parts in; then with everything just "snug" bounce the front end a couple of times to get it all squared up. Then tighten from the bottom up starting with the axle nut.
