OMG! Brake Delamination Alert

    So, I did some repairs for a guy on his 550 Seca last winter....turns out he just bought an '82 XJ750 Maxim for his dad. Danny called me last week and said he has almost no rear brakes, and would I take a look at the bike....

    Much to my surprise the rear drum looked pretty good, no gouges or scraps....used a scotch brite pad and it cleaned up really well!
    Of course it still has all original brakes....the crankcase is full of gas and the original fusebox is shorted out and the headlight and turn signals don't work.....other than about 20 other routine maintenance items....the bike is in pretty good shape.
