    That is exactly what happened to Maxim-X. I was riding to work and the bike shuddered, I revved it a couple of times but there was no power. So I pulled off to the side of the road , got off and started to check out the bike. Low and behold the 2nd cylinder from the right (as you sit on the bike) had snapped the rod off just below the piston.
    The rod took out the bottom part of the barrel, smashed through the front of the case, came back up and took out the back of the case and just stuck there.
    I could see through the motor from front to back!
    I could see the crank turning and the pistons going up and down and it was still idling as though there was nothing wrong.
    Frickin Twilight Zone or what?

    "pods" are clamp on air filters. where the name pods came from i dont know, only hear it on the pavement forums, dirt guys dont use the word so i had to look it up myself when i got my xj.

    actually that happens when you cut the upper back half of the frame every time .Takes the rigidity out of the frame and breaks the motor every time . If your bobber hasn't broke your motor yet you better get down and look for cracks wont be long if it hasn't happened . lol
