Wow, not sure it worth $12,000 but it might as well be a showroom new Seca Turbo.

Maybe if I won the Lottery!

Funny I just posted a link the movie clip the other day. http://xjbikes.com/forums/threads/never-say-never.59884/

Would it get move with the movie fairing on it or stock - not sure. The history and linkage to the movie probably adds $3K easy. I can see that selling to some bond-nut that'll crash it in a week.

Looks pretty slick - I like the way he glosses over what they did to the brakes though.

Question - that exhaust is it a black chrome? Anyone know if it's a direct swap for the Maxim?

The exhaust attaches to the Turbo, so nothing will fit.
(I still have a pair of mufflers, a tail light, and a few bits.)

I dunno... If Ribo's 3k for Bond provenance is accurate, then that bike would have to be worth 9k for this to add up. Anybody seen any XJs for sale for 9k lately? Even in immaculate condition, that seems high. Also, before Ribo's Never Say Never post, I hadn't even heard of this particular Bond movie, and I watch every one when they're on TV! Can't be the most popular one in the series, by far. Seems like this guy is gonna have to find a guy with more money than common sense if he wants that kind of cash!

Never Say Never isn't a true Bond movie. It was Sean Connery's last hurrah as James Bond after he was replaced by Roger Moore. It wasn't produced by Cubby Broccoli. That's why there are different actors for M, Q and Miss Moneypenny.

He looked kinda old in the clip I saw... maybe a little colour in his hair? Still bad ass, but not as bad as Goldfinger, or From Russia with Love. Damn. I gotta borrow my bro's Bond box set.
