Only runs on Prime

    Hey guys, I have done alot of work over the past 2 months... and now I have a question... My bike kept stalling when the Petcock was set to Run, but when I put it on Prime, it drives AMAZING!!! Seriously, what is the issue.

    I took my fuel line off, set it on run, and sucked on it... nothing came out.... its not putting out any gas on run... any Ideas?

    Make sure the vacuum tube is not dirty or plugged and correctly attached to the petcock. If it is then I would suggest making sure that the cylinder that the vacuum line is firing + compression (although if its running good I doubt it)

    If its none of the above chances are your petcock is plugged or broken.

    But it looks like you dont know about the vacuum tube so I will explain it real quick. The vacuum tube attaches to one of the boot manifolds between the carbs and the engine block and runs into the petcock. The engine running creates suction and that suction creates a vacuum in the petcock somehow (Not sure how this works, but it dose) and that suction makes the fuel go through the line. But that suction only happens when the engine is running so if its off and your trying to check it, it wont work, and if the line isent hooked up correctly then it wont work on run.

    The prime function is just to empty the tank when the bike is off.
