Paint Code for Red XJ650RJ??

    Hello,

    I am looking for the paint code and/or the name of the red that the Seca 650 was offered in Canada.

    The name of the silver that US bikes were offered in is Quartz Silver. I just got some touch-up paint from Color Rite, http://www.color-rite.com/ Highly recomended!

    Do we have any Canadien members that have an original fiche for this bike? If so, the name of the color is listed right on the first page and on any page that has bodywork listed.

    All I need is the name is the red.

    I found this on a German Site. It's for a 1980 XJ650. It's the only red I could find.

    one thing to keep in mind is that the colors as they are named by Yamaha are not always the same as the names they have at the color supplier. I work in an auto parts store in the summer, and if you come in and ask for "Quartz Silver" we might not be able to get the right color for you. Always go for the paint code whenever possible

    Thanks! I actually found that site this morning! I also wrote to a Canadien Dealer in BC with the same question and he responded today with this:

    Hello Philip,

    The color code for the 1982 XJ650RJC Seca (starting serial# 15U000101), is 63 , Brilliant Red (BR).
