Parts question

    I bought a carb rebuild kit for a 81-83 xj550 and the carb was missing a lot if parts so I can't just put the new parts where the old parts were. Does anyone know where these 2 orings and this silver piece go?

    The silver piece at top is a plug for the mixture screw hole. It will keep dirt out. It's the very last thing you do after you're certain they're tuned properly.

    The silver piece inside the gasket is the float needle. it goes in the float valve to its right.

    The small o-ring is for the mixture screw.

    Off hand, don't recall where the larger goes. It may be unused.....

    The small o ring is for the air mixture screw. The larger o ring is for the drain screw. The silver thing is the cover plug for the air mixture screw.
