My bike has HOT white leds in the front as turn signals and stock in the rear. My oem signals got smashed in my wreck. Anyway ill be making them fog lights soon but i need it to pass saftey plates are expired.... :(

In Mo were not required to have turn signals but theyll fail it for white. The inspection place told me to just remove the front and rear. I was wondering if i can just pull a fuse so they dont work. If i remove the top right fuse they wont work correct?

odds are if they are on the bike, they have to work.....

best thing to do.... call your mechanic that does your inspections. I know PA has a copy of inspection guidelines online.... bet MO has the same too

You will have to remove them. Clear lenses with white lights, on anything other than driving/fog/head lights, are not DOT approved. Just having them on the bike (working or not) will cause you to fail the inspection (unless the inspector is kind.....bring doughnuts  ).

Just called them. They said if they work theyll look the other way and pass it. They have a thing for vintage bikes.
