    I just need to get a grasp on where they should be roughly, so when I get my new drain screws in, I can have a baseline to start with.

    Which way is best to look at them, I assume with the carbs upside down so the tang is resting on the float pin?

    Pics would help me greatly!

    Correct upside down is how you look at them. I usually set them so they are straight with the line of the carb body. If you look at them from the side. That gets them close.

    Hmm, so holding upside-down... mine (if I remember right from earlier) were actually hanging further into the carb body, than the bowl. So if that is where they are - my fuel levels will be too HIGH, not low, right?
