So story goes, going down a windy road, spirited.
3 lanes, two for traffic, middle for turning.

up a head, see a Saturn Vue turning, then not turning then turning, by that time my crappy breaks and me trying not to hit them, ended up hitting the drivers side as they were turning...

smashed my right leg between the car, right shoulder, and my head hit a window.

no broken stuff, just bruised muscle, ego, and bike.

    anyone want parts?

What a crying shame! I really feel bad for you. That was a great bike; I know.

Sure, everybody will say it's great that you didn't get severely injured in the wreck ... but, you did lose the bike and it's one of those that are nearly impossible to replace.

    I'm sorry about your accident.
I hope that it wasn't having bad brakes that caused it.
That's something you could have done something about.

That is very correct. I was more bummed about my bike than me getting hurt!

The more i look at it, the more i want to keep it... I'm gonna tear into the front part to see what all needs replaced, right now it looks like, everything!

I could fiberglass the fairings "back together". but only half of them were original black... which is pretty much what i broke! haha.

I'm sore like a mofo right now and am already going through bike withdrawls.... I'm thinking about picking up a supersports bike...

Turbo, My heart goes out to you brother.
I've gotta say i'm glad you didn't get seriously hurt. But seeing your bike like that sucks in an enormous fashion.
I'd make ABSOLUTELY sure that the bike is beyond repair before giving up. she was a beauty.

    Make it a "Phoenix"

Out of the fire comes a Modified Cafe' or Street-Fighter.

There's GOT to be something you can do with it!
    FORGET parting it out!

    Build something unique!

I've gotten alot of crap from both sides with this..

'why didn't you stop, why were you riding a bike with bad breaks, why were you xxx'...

I've tore it down, sourced some parts, sad to say this will be revived in a month or two.

    for now, photos..

ANYTHING can be fixed, just mind the costs ;)
Its great that you were not hurt though.
The ONLY think you can do is "Ride Safer."
We all need to remind ourselves of that simple fact.

Hope you begin to feel better soon. Took about a week and some pain pills before I was at the top of my game. Give yourself time to heal.
While your healing it doesnt hurt to spend some time THINKING of things to do. Just dont stress your body before it CAN be stressed.
