Good morning everyone. I am looking to install 1 new metal washer and 4 new rubber washers for the pilot screw on my carbs. I have searched the internet and cannot seem to find them. Do I need to buy a whole new (used) set of carbs in order to find these parts?

The reason I need a new metal washer is that I removed the pilot jet screws with the carbs on the bikes and dropped one of the washers. The rubber washers were put in wrong by the previous owner (something I just found out) the middle of the o-rings seems to be stretching.

    Thank you for your help.

Maybe not a good idea to reuse the o-ring (rubber washers) from an old set of carbs, especially if they're flattened.

They usually come in a kit set for carb rebuilding. Pricy too.

You could try find a set of metric o-rings at hardware or tool stores (I don't know if they stock those tiny o-rings but won't hurt to try).

Hit McMaster-Carr industrial supply (they are on-line). They carry everything, including the kitchen sink.

Hey Trebol....I've got the idle mixture screw Washers and O-rings available, please see my ad in the Parts For Sale section at:

    http://www.xjbikes.com/Forums/viewtopic ... rt=45.html

You mentioned "pilot screw washers & o-rings" but I'm pretty sure that you mean "idle mixture screw washers and o-rings".....the tiny little ones.

And I'm right down the road from ya'! (atlanta).
