Hello y'all I recently acquired a 1981 xj650 maxim and so far it runs well, just has that damn ticking noise so many people seem to have on these bikes (still not sure what that actually is) but I have an oil leak coming from the piston housing part of the block on the upper and lower gaskets. Anybody know where I can get new gaskets? Also oil appears to be leaking out of on of the bolts that locks the piston housing in place as well, any ideas?

I suspect your exhaust is loose at the head and you need to address a leaking valve cover gasket.
When you have the valve cover off it will be good time to measure the valve clearance, do it over the winter.
