    i read somewhere here (i KNOW i did!) about how to cut and make the wires for the replacement coils (crimping the connector on the coil end) and i THINK it said how to reuse the OEM caps for the original look...

    i definitely think i want the OEM caps on my new wires (received from Chacal). i cant find the thread around here anywhere now...

    Lt, are you talking about reaming out the coil bodies, ala Rickco, or jointing the leads ?

    Replacing Spark Plug Wires:

    1.) Carve-out the Old Wire ... Carefully.

    Use a DREMEL Tool. Carbide Bit. Work slow or Plastic MELTS fouling Bit. Have assistant place Vacuum Cleaner near your work to cut-down on mess. Grind-away Case and EXPOSE the TOP of Old Wire. Grind close to Outside Diameter of Old Wire until Top HALF of Wire is Exposed. Grind away plastic until you find where WIRE ENDS.

    2.)

    Use the Dimensions in Photo-2 as a Guide. Leave Front Barrel and as much of the Case as possible. When the Top Half of the Wire is exposed, ... GRAB the Wire and PEEL it out from the Case until it leave the IMPRINT of where it was. Take care not to break-off ""Nail-Head"" Contact Point.

    3.)

    Thread Replacement Wire into Cavity and PUSH Center into Contact Point.
    Use Masking Tape to Build a FORM around Grinded-Out Area to be filled.
    Use 5-Minute Epoxy --> BLACK.
    Build-up applications of Epoxy to fill void and shape New case.

    When you say "replacement coils", are you swapping out the factory ones and putting in Dynas? If so, I think this file right here is what you'll be wanting. New coils, new wires, new caps even, although that part is indeed optional.
