I'm getting inconsistent brake pressure from my handle. Could mean I need a bleed, but doesn't seem likely to me, bled it about a month ago when I flushed the system. It's possible that the tiny air bubbles have finally coalesced into a giant bubble somewhere and that's the issue, but regardless I'm thinking about a new master cylinder. The rubber seal looks beat to shit from what I can tell.

What do guys usually put on the XJ's for replacement master cylinders? More modulation would be very welcomed!

    Thanks!

Hey! I got a new MC from MikesXS, but I'm not terribly satisfied with how it turned out. I had to cut off the brake lever from the RH controls, and even then I had problems making it fit due to the adjusting screw on the MC.
The solution became to buy a new set of RH switches, but then you have the case of RH an LH controls not matching.

Ideally, a new MC should have the reservoir on top, and the adjusting screw outside of the lever. Rizona has something of that sort, but that costs plenty of money.

if you still have the buckhorns replacements are a bit harder to get as you will want something that was built to keep the top level on the heavy angle of the bars. rebuild kits are available as well
